Specifically, the _Refrigeration Apprentice_ _will:
- Work alongside our Refrigeration Journeymen
- Install new equipment to a high standard, read, follow, and understand equipment manuals
- Order equipment supplies, repair modules, and sundries for the order
- Read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics
- Install climate control systems, refrigeration units
- Observe and test newly installed systems
- Troubleshoot refrigeration equipment failures
- Maintain stock levels
- Inform clients of repair costs and alternate cooling options
- Work with the entire PMP team to bring your project to a successful conclusion
- Skills & Requirements_
- Previous refrigeration experience is required
- Tech-savvy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team

- Compensation: _DOE + 5% RRSP + Full Benefits Package (100% Company-Paid) + Life Insurance
Our pay plan matches the local union rates here in the Lower Mainland. We provide medical, life, dental and disability insurance and pension plan after probation. We are a very safety-driven company and will provide Fall Protection training, Scissor Lift training, WHMIS certification for new hires. We work usual construction hours, there is no on-call rotation.
