Nita Lake Lodge is a distinguished 4-diamond boutique property in the heart of Whistler, known for delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food & Beverage Servers to join our team and contribute to our outstanding dining service.
- **Position Summary**:_
As a Breakfast Server, you will be responsible for providing high-level customer service to all restaurant guests. Your duties will include taking accurate orders, maintaining an extensive knowledge of menu items and daily specials, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Additional responsibilities include setting tables, removing used dishes, assisting with cleaning duties, and adhering to all restaurant policies and procedures.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- **Guest Service**: Provide exceptional guest service according to Nita Lake Lodge guidelines and steps of service.
- **Engagement**: Interact with guests, share menu knowledge, and make recommendations.
- **Order Management**: Take food and beverage orders, ring in items, and work with the team to expedite service efficiently.
- **Cleanliness**: Maintain cleanliness in designated areas and ensure tables are sanitized between guests.
- **Billing**: Ensure accurate billing, present the bill, and process payments in accordance with establishment procedures.
- **Daily Duties**: Complete opening and closing duties using the provided checklist.
- **Health & Safety**: Follow all Health & Safety procedures and be familiar with emergency protocols.
- **Professionalism**: Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance.
- **Team Participation**: Attend meetings and training courses as required and assist team members as needed.
- **Other Duties**: Perform any other duties as assigned.
- **Requirements**:_
- **Certification**: Serving it Right Certification.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years' previous serving experience.
- **Skills**: Strong attention to detail, basic wine knowledge, excellent communication, time management, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- **Professionalism**: Maintain a professional appearance and manners.
