**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist customers with product selection.
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
- Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of products to maximize space and maintain safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of goods throughout the yard/ warehouse area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with other duties as needed, including inventory management, order desk and general maintenance tasks.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience operating forklifts and hand loading product.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory control is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety practices in a yard/warehouse environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Punctuality essential.
