Urgent) Onsite Chess Tutor

**Job Summary**

**Qualifications**:

- Teaching experience in international chess is preferred
- Reach the coach level certified by the Canadian Chess Association (CCA), or hold an equivalent internationally recognized chess level
- Organized or participating in international chess competitions is a plus
- Proficient in English
- Experience one-on-one tutoring
- Experience with Group Classes is a plus
- Be energetic, understanding, reliable and joyful

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.
- Teach international chess across various levels, ensuring clarity and comprehension among students.
- Provide class reports timely after each session.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to create a productive and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues for learning progress and development area

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $18.69-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week
