**About the Job**

**General responsibilities include**:

- Pick orders and prepare them in staging areas for delivery
- Cycle counting moving supplies
- Ordering of materials to keep shelves stocked.
- using software to charge customer accounts or process payments.
- Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks
- Ensure accuracy of order against paperwork
- Move incoming product to the designated location in the warehouse
- Greet customers entering the warehouse
- Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions with customers and other employees is a must.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education/Experience/Skill**
- Must have a valid Ontario G-class license OR a valid Quebec Class-3 license.
- High school education required
- Forklift certified an asset
- Experience in a warehouse environment an asset
- Experience with the moving industry and supplies an asset

**Environment & Physical/Mental Demands**
- Must be able to safely lift 40lbs
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment
- Distribution branch physical environment: noise, fluctuating temperature due to bay doors being open, constant stimulation of senses (visual, audio distractions)
- Prepare customer orders using various forklifts.
- Customer oriented attitude.
- Prepare orders for shipment.
- Match incoming and outgoing product with purchase orders
- Keep the warehouse clean/organized.
- Perform all tasks in a safe manor.
- support a strong safety culture and lead by example.
- Attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Other duties as assigned

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
