**Who We Are**

Meet Fresh Prep — Western Canada’s most convenient and sustainable meal kit delivery service.

As a certified B Corporation, we make convenient eating healthy and sustainable for the communities we operate in. We source quality local ingredients whenever possible, and deliver in reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging. We offer 10 chef-created meal kit recipes each week, with options for many lifestyles and preferences including vegetarian and vegan.

In the past few years, we have collected many awards and recognition for our continued pursuit in being a leader in both customer and employee satisfaction. Some awards include The Georgia Straight’s Golden Plates, 23rd and 24th Annual Best of Vancouver award for Best Meal Kit Service, BC’s Top Employers 2023, Top SME 2023, and Climate Smart. Fresh Prep also placed on The Globe and Mail’s prestigious 2023 Canada's Top Growing Companies list.

**What You'll Be Doing**:
At Fresh Prep, every day may be different While we are currently in “growth mode”, things are becoming more and more streamlined. This means that your first day may not look like your third or your tenth, but each day you will be doing some of the following:
- Assisting in maintaining a clean, food-safe production facility- Monitoring packaging lines to maintain consistent operational flow- Conducting the changeovers- Proactively replenishing assembly stations- Emptying and removing empty bins and trays- Disposing cardboard, garbage, plastic waste, etc- Keeping the produce cooler organized- Flagging any quality issues and delays to the leads & supervisor- Conducting quality and quantity checks- Returning leftover ingredients to the cooler in an organized manner- Maintaining FIFO

**What We Are Looking For**:
- 1+ years of experience in food prep, restaurant, warehouse, or busy retail environment preferred- Able to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines- Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment. The production is kept at between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius- Extremely proficient at multi-tasking- Detail oriented and meticulous- Able to stand on your feet for 8 hour shifts- Ability to repetitively reach heights above your head- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs (23 kgs) repetitively- Punctual attendance is essential
