**About Us**

We are a fashion trading company with a retail store and wholesale operation that specializes in well-crafted fashion and thoughtful, innovative goods — mainly from Japan and Canada, with some from Europe. Every product we carry is carefully selected, with attention to quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability.

Our small but dynamic team consists of five members — three full-time, one semi-full-time, and one part-time.
**Together, we work closely and mindfully, taking pride in the details of our daily work.**
We are currently looking to hire a **semi-full-time (3-4 days/week)** team member to join us.

If you are only interested in **graphic design** or back-office work, this is not the right place.
We’re looking for someone who truly enjoys **sales and customer interaction first**, while also supporting creative and visual tasks during quieter hours.

At Branches & Knots, you’ll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of running a fashion business — from retail and online operations to wholesale and creative direction. It’s a rare opportunity to learn in depth what makes a small, dynamic business thrive.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide warm and attentive customer service, creating a welcoming and inspiring shopping experience
- Manage daily store operations: opening/closing, cash handling, cleaning, and maintaining a beautiful presentation
- Enter product information, issue invoices, and follow up on inventory and orders
- Prepare daily reports and communicate updates with the management team
- Assist with social media and online content when needed
- Participate in weekly meetings to review goals, share ideas, and collaborate as a team

**Qualifications**
- **Love fashion and have a personal style that resonates with our store’s aesthetic**:

- Enjoy dressing up and expressing individuality through clothing
- Friendly, proactive, and confident in customer interactions
- **Business-level English** and ability to **read/write Japanese (required)**:

- Artistic sense and comfort using creative tools like **Canva**:

- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Fast learner, multitasker, and team player
- Honest, positive, and dependable
- **Must be available to work weekends**

**Nice to Have**
- Experience in **retail, e-commerce, or visual merchandising**:

- Graphic design or illustration background
- Interest in photography or storytelling through visuals
- Knowledge of wholesale operations

**Additional Information**
- Wage depending on experience, reviewed periodically
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
