We are currently looking for a **Warehouse Associate** to join our team at the **St. Catharines** branch for the summer season.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:

- Fixed-Term (2-4 months)
- Monday to Friday, Full-Time

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare and pack orders for loading and shipping. Double check all picked orders for accuracy of count and type of material.
- Assist with receiving tasks, verify stock and place material in appropriate locations designated by the Receiving Report.
- Load Company vehicles/trucks when all material is ready for delivery to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries and to ensure all material loaded is secured and safe for delivery.
- Responsible to maintain a safe and clean warehouse and counter area for other employees and customers by keeping aisles and shelves clear of objects and/or potential dangers.
- Use and maintain material handling equipment (i.e. Forklift, Pump truck, etc.) in a safe manner and inform supervisor immediately of any problems with equipment.
- Assist with annual physical inventory.
- Execute all other duties as required by the position and/or requested by the immediate supervisor.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous warehouse experience, picking/packing orders preferred
- Previous forklift training, current certification an asset
- Experience using an RF scanner an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication (in English)
- Detail-oriented
- Basic mathematical skills (i.e. Counting)
- Comfortable with physical work including lifting, carrying and moving (up to 50lbs)
- Safety conscious
- Ability to work well individually or as a team player
