Duties and Responsibilities:_**
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain domestic and commercial plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
- Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
- Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines.
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- Assist with material handling.
- Always maintain a clean working area, and perform housekeeping duties on site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**_ Required Qualifications: _**
- Journeyman Plumber or Plumbing Red Seal certificate.
- Must have a minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and make simple calculations to read survey stakes and calculate areas and volumes.
- Skilled in using and caring for hand and small power tools associated with the work.
- Ability to understand and interpret plans & specifications.
- Desire to coach, train and assist the crew with completing quality work.
- Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate with multiple team members, and interpret their needs.

**_ Physical Requirements:_**
- Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours/day.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Use proper lifting techniques for heavy pipes weighing more than 25 kilograms.
- Must be able to work in outdoor weather and/or unregulated temperatures for 10-12 hours/day.
