**S**umma**r**y**:
Located in Toronto, the Human Resources Representative will be the key point of contact for all employees in our North American Head Office. This position reports into the Director of OD/Training/Payroll Americas with a director to the Manager, HR and Compensation. The HR Representative will be assisting with the administrative workload, which can include supporting the recruitment process, acting as liaison between employees and the HR department, and maintaining employee records. The HR Representative holds a key role in our day-to-day operations and ensures that the company's human resources needs are being met in order to maintain positive relationships with all employees.

**E**s**s**en**t**ial Duti**e**s **a**nd **R**e**s**ponsibilities**:

- Inc_l_u_d_es t_h_e f_o_ll_o_w_i_n_g_; _o_th_e_r d_u_t_i_es m_a_y _b_e _a_ss_i_g_n_e_d _a_s re_q_u_i_r_ed_._
- Maintains department related information for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements and prepares data as requested on a routine and ad hoc basis.
- Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
- Maintain and ensure that employee records are updated as necessary and are accurate
- Supports organization's staffing needs
- Assists with Temp to Full-Time conversions (notifications, letters, onboarding paperwork and scheduling and preparing for orientation sessions)
- Processes all new hire paperwork
- Assists department with administrative needs
- Prepares mailings
- Maintains and updates employee communication
- Department filing and scanning compliance
- Assists with coordinating annual and one-time facility-wide events
- Coordinates company sponsored programs
- Assists with facilitating company bereavement, service award and tuition reimbursement programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

**Qual**i**fic**a**tio**n**s**:

- A degree from an accredited College or University and/or two to five years related experience and/or training/or equivalent combination of education and experience cement, concrete, cement, construction, or manufacturing industries with quality improvement, project management
- Bilingual (French) skills will be an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility to changing work priorities
- Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Confidentiality of data
