We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to work alongside our existing team members

Adventureland Daycare & OSC is a leading childcare facility located in Leduc, Alberta. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing, educational, and fun environment for children to learn and grow. Our team of passionate educators is committed to fostering a love of learning and ensuring each child feels valued and supported. We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

As an Early Childhood Educator at Adventureland Daycare & OSC, you will play a key role in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children. You will create a safe and engaging environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Your passion for early childhood education and your commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere will be essential in supporting the growth and development of the children in our care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement a variety of activities that support the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development of children.
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children.
- Observe and document children’s progress and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta’s childcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification as an Early Childhood Educator (Level 1 or 2 or 3) in Alberta.
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for children of all backgrounds and abilities.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Ability to provide a proper PIC with a Vulnerable Sector search.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $22.55 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leduc, AB T9E 6M6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- We are currently hiring for 1 part time opening that is a 6:30am to 12pm OR 6:30am to 3:30pm shift. Is this something that interests you? If not, please tell about about your preferred start/end time. We'll be posting for a different position in the future

**Experience**:

- DAYCARE setting (not classroom or babysitting): 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Alberta ECE Level 2 or 3 (required)
