**Bio Agri Mix LP** is a leading Canadian manufacturer of animal feed medicants and other animal health care products for 30+ years. Our company is located in Mitchell, ON, a rural community situated in Perth County close to Stratford, and centrally located to London, and Kitchener. Bio Agri Mix LP is a Health Canada-licensed, FDA-approved, HACCP-certified manufacturer of medicated feed additives serving the Canadian market. **We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for Full-Time employment.**

**Benefits**:

- **Starting hourly rate**:_$28.00 / per hour.
- **Day Shift Times**:_7am to 3:30pm - Monday to Friday (5 - 8 hours shifts).
- **Night Shift Times**:_7pm to 7am - Monday to Friday (4 -12 hour shifts).
- **Night shift premium**:_$1.00/per hour paid when working on the night shift.
- **Overtime**:_ 1.5 x hourly rate paid after working in excess of 40 hours in a workweek.
- **Health Benefits**:_Enrollment into the company plan upon completion of a successful probation period.
- **Holiday Bonus: $1,000 **_bonus for Full-time active employees. It will be pro-rated based on your start date and active employment days. This bonus will be paid in late December.
- **Apprenticeship**:_ Apprenticeship Millwright program available for interested and qualified individuals.

**Job Duties / Requirements**:

- Perform preventative, and emergency maintenance tasks.
- Assist and complete repairs to malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, and other machines.
- Responsible for installing and or dismantling machinery and equipment.
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment.
- Ability to perform some Mig welding on stainless steel is an asset.
- Perform some fabrication duties.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints and other diagrams.
- Capable of multi-tasking, as well as the ability to complete any required documentation.
- Must be capable for working off shifts and weekends as well as cover emergency call-ins, as needed.
- Ensure all health and safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and WHMIS would be an asset.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

**Educational Experience / Background**
- 2 - 4 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance and or related field experience.
- Experience in the Food and Drug Industry an asset
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, blenders and packaging equipment
