Come join a fabulous team of colleagues, working in our newly renovated Commercial Kitchen, preparing meals for our Meals on Wheels program and other catering events in the community.

As a Food Services Worker, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service area. Reporting to the Food Services Team Lead, you will utilize your core skills in food handling to prepare meals while adhering to food safety guidelines. Your experience in the food industry and organizational skills will support a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Additionally, your communication skills and ability to work in a team will enhance the overall performance of the Food Services team.

**Job Duties**:

- Prepare food and beverages while adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Handle food items safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Communicate effectively with customers, volunteers, and staff.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Ability to work in both a team setting and with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve with good judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license Class G, and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and physically demanding environment.
- Experience in a commercial kitchen is an asset.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
- Post-secondary education is an asset.
- French language skills are an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.63 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 24 per week
