Molycop has a Mechanical Fitter apprenticeship available for the right person. This opportunity is open to both school leavers and adults.

Gain a Certificate III at TAFE, obtain valuable on-the-job development experiences and coaching from expert tradespeople and leaders.

Molycop apprentices achieve a nationally recognised qualification after being trained by some of the most experienced engineers and tradespeople in the region. You will have a supervisor to mentor you, as well as the support of your colleagues and peers to ensure your time on the Apprentice Program is a positive learning and working experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain a range of tools and equipment, such as welding machines, grinders, and power tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, gaining hands-on problem-solving experience
- Operate various tools and equipment, including welding machines and power tools, following safety protocols
- Collaborate with senior Tradesmen and other team members to complete projects efficiently and to high quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations

- Must have a genuine interest in building a career in Heavy industry
- Reasonable writing and computer skills, good level of Math and English
