For this reason, we are searching for an outstanding Journeyman/Journeywoman Kitchen Cabinet Installer. The Cabinet Installer completes cabinet installation from start to finish with confidence. The position works on various sites, residential, commercial, and industrial, according to Prestige’s standard operating procedures. At times, the role will be required to work on the shop floor with fellow technicians as required. The main responsibility of this role is to provide the highest level of installation standards while maintaining a professional attitude with the utmost respect for the customer’s property.

**Job Duties**
- Inspects and assembles materials and articles to specified standards.
- Performs all cabinet installations, with the ability to reason and understand and carry out detailed written, illustrated or verbal instructions.
- Informs customers about the functionality, care and upkeep of their new installations.
- Ensures work is completed as requested by the customer, project manager, or contractor to their standards.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Works under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
- Ensures attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and Information.
- Practices good housekeeping always to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite.
- Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including machines and equipment safe operation.
- Proactively communicates job site conditions and concerns that may affect the completion of the job to the appropriate person.

**Professional Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
- Red Seal Journeyman/Journeywoman Cabinet Maker or Journeyman/Journeywoman Carpenter.
- A minimum of 3-years experience as a successful Cabinet Installer.
- Demonstrated excellent carpentry and hand tool skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices.
- Must have a clean driving record and have a vehicle for transport purposes.
- Have own tools available.
- Willingness to work within a team or independently as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to work evenings, on-call and weekends when requested.
