**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation & execution of formulas according to the parameters defined in the technical sheet; maintaining records
- Determination of the quantities of raw materials to be used
- Filling out the test sheets at the level of Raw Material code and respective entry guide
- Procurement with Raw Materials for the respective formula; raw material ingredientation
- Ensure weighing is accurate
- Transformation of Raw Material when necessary
- Packing of processed fruit and storage of remaining fruit
- Control parameters (brix; pH; viscosity; density; retained)
- Comparison (when necessary) with existing samples (refrigerator / freezer)
- Packaging identification
- Test new flavors / colours
- Insertion of all critical information and data in the software system
- Cross-functional responsibilities
- Ensure the stock of raw materials (segregation of raw materials out of date) and internal stock of packaging
- Ensure the cleaning, hygiene and tidiness of the workplace; good condition and conservation of laboratory equipment

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of post-secondary education in chemistry or biology and/or experience in a related industry required
- Experience working in a laboratory setting required
- Minimum 1-2 years experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, CCPs and Food Safety (e.g. BRC) required
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.; be able to stand, bend, lift, twist, and turn for extended periods of time
- Must be motivated, able to multi-task and problem solve, be task and detail oriented, and work effectively in a team environment
- Must be safety and quality conscious

**Salary**: $17.50 per hour
