**Position Overview**: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team. In this role, you will ensure that all linens, towels, and rags are cleaned, and prepared to meet our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Laundry Operations**:

- Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment according to hotel procedures.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments by type, color, and fabric.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect all items for stains, damage, or wear and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure that cleaned items are presented to the highest standards before distribution.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor and manage laundry supplies, including detergents and cleaning agents.
- Inform management when supplies are low or need to be reordered.
- **Safety and Cleanliness**:

- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Adhere to sanitation standards and hotel policies for cleanliness.
- **Guest Service**:

- Respond promptly and courteously to laundry requests from staff and guests.
- Assist in special laundry needs or services as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Ability to operate laundry machinery and follow established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.

**Work Environment**:

- Fast-paced environment within the hotel laundry facility.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
