Caregiver/nanny

We are seeking a friendly, responsible, experienced caregiver needed for our 3 children starting immediately. We live in Lantzville and have 11 year old twins and a 14 year old. We are looking for someone who is reliable, energetic, and loves kids.

We are offering 12-18 hrs/week over 3-4 weekdays (4-6hrs/day, Monday to Friday, weekend care is usually not required). The hours are usually 2-6pm, and 12-6pm on Fridays.

The position involves driving the kids to after school activities and some daytime care of the children. Light housework, making school lunches and some cooking for the children is required. Must be a non-smoker.

We are a fun, busy family and need someone who is very reliable and has lots of enthusiasm. The position is long term. Wage is negotiable depending on experience. This position has worked well for students at VIU in the past, particularly those in the Education Program. The kids love the outdoors, sports, and crafts.
