YMCA of Southwestern Ontario was founded in 1856 and has over 200 locations from Goderich to Point Pelee, and Windsor to Woodstock. We are one of the largest not-for-profit providers of licensed child care in Canada and have over 100 school age programs across our regions. Employees and volunteers of YMCA of Southwestern Ontario are ambassadors for the Y both on and off the job. **Position**: Part Time School Age Educators and Site Supervisors
Contract - August 25, 2025 to June 26, 2026
**Location**: London
**Compensation**: Starting rates are dependent on region, qualifications, and contract.
- Members of the College of Early Childhood Educators, Ontario - $24.96 - $26.00 per hour (includes Government Wage Enhancements)
- Non-Members - $ 20.50 per hour (includes Government Wage Enhancements)

**Schedule**:

- Monday through Friday following the elementary school calendar September to June.
- Morning program operates from - 6:45 am - 9:00am (varies with location)
- Afternoon program operates from - 2:30pm - 6:00pm (varies with location)
- Possibility of additional full-day shifts on PD Days/Breaks - various locations and needs
- Required to commit to supporting a family of schools within a reasonable proximity
- Site Supervisors must be available to work both morning and afternoon shifts

**In this role, you will**:

- Plan and deliver a consistent child-centered program for elementary age children, in accordance with our YMCA curriculum
- Provide quality compassionate care and support to children and their families
- Ensure supervision and safety of children at all times; Understand and comply with provincial (CCEYA), municipal and YMCA policies and procedures
- Be committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and building a sense of belonging
- Embrace and exemplify the Y’s core values

**Education & Skills Qualifications**:

- Experience working with children 4-12 years in a work or school placement setting is an asset
- Plans to enroll, or in current pursuit of a diploma in Early Childhood Education, or in pursuit or holds a diploma or a degree in a related field of study is an asset
- Early Childhood Education graduates must be registered (or proof that registration is in process) and in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- Graduates in a related field of study must be members of their associations as required
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification or include the date of training scheduled within the next three months. Training cost and time is at the expense of the applicant and not reimbursed
- Applicants are required to be a minimum of 18 years of age or older to obtain a current Vulnerable Criminal Reference Check (less than 6 months old)
- Up-to-date immunizations r
