Job Title: Lane Closure Technician (LCT).

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm. Additional overtime hours may be available on occasion.

Compensation: starting at $25-32 per hour (depending on skills and & experience).

**Responsibilities**:

- Be reliable and consistent in attendance.
- Possess a hardworking, and positive attitude.
- Maintain and promote communication amongst co-workers, management, and clients. Required documentation is completed consistently and thoroughly each day.
- Ability to critically think and problem solve while on the job. Show attention to detail and is alertness while on the job.
- Understand and consistently demonstrate occupational health and safety (OHS) safe work practices and procedures. Perform risk/hazard & safety assessments at each job site prior to commencing work and throughout the duration of the job.
- Work site equipment set up and removal to ensure a safe, and controlled work space for all.
- Conduct basic vehicle and equipment safety inspection reports.
- Provide leadership and aid in training junior employees.
- Provide feedback and collaborate with supervisors and management on process improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Lane Closure Technician (LCT) certificate.
- Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- A valid B.C. Class 5 driver’s licence, and safe drivers abstract.
- The ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, management, contractors, and clients.
- General construction and/or arboriculture experience is an asset.
- Knowledge and implementation of Traffic Management Plans is an asset.
- Has knowledge of OH&S regulations, and the materials and methods required.
- 1 year minimum experience is required.

**Salary**: Up to $32.00 per hour
