Hain Celestial Canada, a division of the US-based Hain Celestial Group, is a leading organic and natural products company with operations in North America, Europe and India. We provide consumers with superior food and personal care products for a healthy way of life. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of **COMPOUNDER**.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To compound all varieties of bulk
- Weigh chemicals accurately
- Return unused chemicals to proper location after use
- Make adjustments to batches as per the lab or manufacturing supervisor
- Take samples to lab in a timely fashion
- Documentation of the following: Lot #'s on batch sheet; Locations on batch sheet for each raw material; Enter batch into the log on the computer; Assign lot # for the batch; Record actual usage on batch sheet.
- Report spills or mistakes immediately to your supervisor
- Report all faulty and broken equipment to your supervisor
- Locate incoming raw materials when required and document
- Wash and clean tanks when required
- Update work in progress board as needed
- Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or another manager

**COMPETENCIES**
- Able to lift 5 lbs. to 50 lbs.
- Must speak, read and write English
- Ability to follow chemical batch sheets
- Maintain fast work pace

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a similar role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
