Plumber and Gasfitter

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Duties: - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems - Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components - Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals to ensure proper coordination of plumbing activities - Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning drains and replacing worn-out parts - Use power tools and hand tools to cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install pipes - Test plumbing systems for leaks using air pressure or water pressure gauges - Follow safety procedures and adhere to building codes and regulations Requirements: - Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role - Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools effectively - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings - Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring pipe lengths, angles, etc. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Health insurance coverage - Retirement plan options - Paid time off If you are a skilled Plumber looking for a challenging opportunity with room for growth in a reputable company, we encourage you to apply.
