NCH Canada is a leading manufacturer and distributor of Industrial Maintenance products. We are currently recruiting an Inventory Control Clerk to join our Purchasing team who will be responsible for coordinating purchase and delivery of goods from suppliers, inventory management, addressing supply/supplier issues, data entry, recognizing cost-saving opportunities, report generation and analysis of data, resolving issues pertaining to material defects, invoice discrepancies, as well as delivery timelines.

**Job duties will include but not limited to**
- Use ERP computer system to create purchase requisitions and manage and track purchase orders from suppliers.
- Provide ETA’s to Reps and Customer Service as requested and maintain dates daily.
- Receiving all internal orders and some stocking orders.
- Creation of work orders for production.
- Matching of purchase orders and invoices and identify discrepancies between shipments and orders.
- New item/product setup.
- Management of reserve, slow moving and expired inventory.
- Manage stock transfers to other warehouse (coordinating, advising, and receiving).
- Maintain vendor and product files, price lists, vendor evaluations, and computer correspondence related to product line.
- Completing cycle counts.
- Handling of vendor returns.
- Cost savings entry and tracking.
- Managing, ordering, and maintaining Shipping and Office supplies.
- Filing and other duties relevant to the position will be assigned by supervisor as required.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate related to Purchasing or Administrative field is an asset.
- 1 year of purchasing experience in an operations and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication, problem solving, and time management skills.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and positive team attitude.
- Accountable, dependable, adaptable, and flexible.
