Team Leader Afternoon

**Monday to Friday - 4:30 pm to 12:30 am shift**
**Basic Function**:
As a Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop team members assigned to you. The main focus of the Team Leader is to assist the Production Supervisor in the day to day management of team members, as well as performing basic warehousing duties. You will be responsible for engaging your team members during the shift to maintain key performance indicators, safety, quality, attendance, performance and engagement.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assign, prioritize and supervise work duties in order to meet key performance indicators within the area assigned to you.
- Conduct daily shift meetings to ensure timely and effective communication with team members.
- Monitor and supervise productivity, accuracy and quality of team members. Provide 30-60-90 day and annual performance feedback to Production Supervisor.
- Provide daily leadership and mentorship to team members assigned to you.
- Provide hands-on support to team members up to and including performing basic warehousing duties, pick-pack, co-packing and kitting duties.
- Provide daily updates to the Production Supervisor.
- Complete necessary documentation/paperwork for projects, including adjustments and dispositions.
- Respond to roadblocks to productivity schedule and quality of the operation.
- Assist with other warehouse areas - including shipping and receiving during downtime.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use proper safety equipment as required. Ensure the facility is compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
- Alarming facility at end of shift
**Requirements**:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse.
- Have good planning skills and judgement.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position - walking, standing, repetitive lifting and bending.
