**JOB OVERVIEW**:

- Reporting to the Managing Director, the IT Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems and infrastructure to support business operations across Yusen Logistics Canada. The IT Manager will also closely liaise with the Yusen Logistics (Americas) IT Department as it pertains to cascading down regional IT infrastructure initiatives and projects to Yusen Logistics (Canada) Inc. This role leads the IT department and plays a key role in the company’s digital transformation initiatives, ensuring technology aligns with strategic business objectives._

**WHAT AN IT MANAGER DOES**:

- Lead and manage IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and support services.
- Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with business goals.
- Oversee system and software implementation, upgrades, and integrations.
- Drive digital transformation and process automation projects across all departments and business units.
- Manage IT vendors, budgets, licenses, and service contracts.
- Ensure data privacy, compliance, and business continuity plans are in place/disaster recovery plans.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IT team members.
- Support Operations and IT teams during critical project phases.
- Translate business requirements into system configurations and enables functionality that meet requirements.
- Lead project meetings and administer notes, plans, and action items.
- Performs the standard responsibilities of a People Leader.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- ITIL (ITSM certification), PMP designations preferred, but not required.
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, ERP (SAP B1), CargoWise, WMS (MA SCALE), EDI and API integration and development, TMS (3G TMS), cybersecurity, and digital tools.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and experience leading cross functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required.
- Must be self-directed, capable of identifying, prioritizing, and executing work tasks.
- Proven experience resolving risks and issues within a project.
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills in English for communicating internally and externally.
- Highly competent with computers with advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Web based tools).
- Fast and accurate keyboard skills.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
