**Overview**:
**Custodian Duties and Responsibilities**:
- opening the Facility, including turning unlocking doors, turning on lights and turning on the music.
- Take out the trash and tidy up the premises
- Rearrange furniture and wipe surfaces as needed
- Sweep and mop floors, and vacuum carpets
- Clean and sanitize all bathroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Restock necessary items such as soap and paper products
- Perform general outdoor services, including sweeping entry areas, cleaning patio tables and chairs, and washing glass doors at entrances
- Lock down facilities at the end of the day, including securing doors, turning off lights, and turning off music
Custodian Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Some professional experience as a custodian, janitor, or in a similar role is a plus
- Working knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances and their maintenance
- Understanding of safety protocols for handling chemicals and hazardous materials - Detail-oriented and conscientious
- Ability to work on your feet for up to 10 hours and lift 30 lbs.
- able to work evenings and weekends.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
**Education**:
- Secondary School (required)
**Experience**:
- Cleaning: 1 year (required)
- Custodial: 1 year (required)
