Position Description:
The key role of the Assistant Marketing Manager will be to assist with critical sales and marketing tasks to support the Consumer Group business as we plan for continued growth and a brand revitalization for Hoover and Dirt Devil. The Assistant Marketing Manager will also be assisting with marketing initiatives related to the expansion of the Hart brand at Walmart Canada.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing
- Collaborate with Sales team to manage and optimize paid advertising initiatives on Amazon.ca
- Ensure product reviews are syndicated on all Customer websites

Brand Marketing
- Collaborate with the US to enhance marketing images and copy for new products and product transitions for our retail partners
- Assist Director of Marketing with executing advertising initiatives for the Hoover, Dirt Devil or Hart brands
- Assist with executing co-op digital advertising campaigns with our retail partners
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (Sales, Channel, Product and Supply Chain) to determine in-store launch timing for new products and transitions.
- Assist with coordinating product line reviews and RFQs.
- Coordinate PR and advertising product sample requests and events.
- Order apparel, giveaways and swag for Hoover, Dirt Devil and Hart

**Qualifications**:

- Post Secondary diploma or degree preferably in Marketing or 2+ years of similar marketing experience
- Understanding of Google Analytics and Amazon Web Services would be an asset
- Big Box retailer experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong Project Management ability.
- Outspoken with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Multi-tasking and strong analytical skills.
- Creative and innovative problem solver.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
