**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within our facility, ensuring that all guest rooms and laundry areas meet our high standards of quality. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute significantly to our guests' overall experience.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized laundry area.
- Provide exceptional service to guests by responding promptly to requests for additional items or services.
**Requirements**:
- 6+ Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Capable of cleaning 14 - 15 rooms in 8 hours
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Up to date WHMIS Certificate
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members effectively.

Pay: $17.20 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
