The Position: Microsoft Cloud Specialist
Location: Laval (QC)
Permanent and Full-time position

As a member of the project team, the Microsoft Cloud Specialist is responsible for delivering cloud strategies and provide leadership
organizational guidelines, standards and best practices.

**Responsibilities**:

working closely with other IT Infrastructure Specialists, Solutions Architects and Security Resources to design and integrate
cloud and on-premises services, enabling secure operations in the cloud environment;
executing cloud computing across IT operations and provide technical consulting and advisory to decision makers;
deploying, automating, and managing cloud (Azure) based systems to ensure high availability, performance, scalability,

and security for Clients’ environments;
documenting and developing standard operating procedures;
making recommendations and providing continuous systems and process improvements to Management and Clients;
maintaining knowledge of the organization’s product offering, staying abreast of cloud technologies and tools;
assisting IT leadership in developing roadmap for cloud integration and strategies;
providing cloud technical mentoring to strengthen cloud support within internal IT teams, and providing quality services

to Clients;
influencing and driving product improvements and enhancements and ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned;
taking ownership of items assigned by stakeholders and ensure timely response on deliverables;
maintaining vendor certifications as assigned by management.

College or university degree in computer sciences or equivalent experience;
minimum 3 years working experience with Azure Cloud Services;
minimum 3 -5 years of experience in System Support and Administration in Enterprise environments;
minimum of 3 - 5 years of current working knowledge in supporting and managing Microsoft 365, Virtualization

technologies, Storage Systems, Infrastructure monitoring & alerting technologies, high availability architecture in Azure
Hybrid Cloud Technologies;
industry certifications in virtualization, Microsoft Azure, networking technologies and Microsoft 365 certifications are an
asset;
proficiency in Windows Servers, Active Directory, PowerShell, Azure Active Directory, Identity and Access Management,
Virtualization, Certificates (public and private PKI), DNS, Web Application Gateway, TCP/IP networking and Routing is an
asset;
experience working with Azure Automation Accounts and Logic Apps is an asset;
experience configuring and deploying App Services, Security Gateways, VNets/Subnets, NSGs, Peerings, Recovery Services

Vault, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Automation Accounts, Azure Disk Encryption, Private Endpoints, Private Link,

written and verbal communications skills in French & English with strong presentation skills;
excellent organizational skills and capable to prioritise tasks in order to respect deadlines;
in-depth knowledge of technology best practices;
adaptability and willingness to learn new skills, frameworks, and technologies;
strong leadership in developing and driving solutions;
strong problem-solving skills, creative, and innovative thinking that can be applied to resolve complex business and

technical challenges;
a deep commitment to contributing to team success as a team player;
the ability to work independently: self-learner, motivated, enthusiastic, and someone who enjoys learning modern

technologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
