We are searching for a **Utility Worker / Bakery Help**to join our PRODUCTION KITCHEN team based in HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA.

**About the Opportunity**
- Works as an integral part of a dedicated team in maintaining a clean, healthy environment for residents and staff
- Assisting in the preparing baked goods according to established standards, procedure, recipes and menus; assist with potato production.
- Receiving, storing and rotating inventory of all required foods and supplies;
- Assisting Bakers and Cooks with measuring ingredients.
- Maintaining safety and sanitation in the kitchen to meet legislative and organizational standard
- Advises Supervisor of any and all equipment malfunctions and repair requirements, as well as any relevant information and/or observations
- Takes every reasonable precaution to protect own health and safety and the health and safety of other persons at or near the workplace

**About You**

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

- A high-school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to use chemical cleaning agents and equipment
- Ability to read and write in the English language is required
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate is considered an asset
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care
