Reporting to the IT Team, this position will help design and implement solutions that increase the productivity of our workforce and support the deployment and after-sales support of our client solutions. Also, this role may have you working closely with internal staff in a teaching and training capacity as the need arises.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administrates, creates, tests, and sustains operating system and related software
- Prepares and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters
- Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems
- Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries
- Implement technologies including Linux and Microsoft servers and all prominent desktop/mobile OS, SQL database systems.
- Assist in the on-call hours support of client's sites and business continuity systems
- May require some travel outside of the head office supporting external sites
- In collaboration with our deployment and support teams, design and develop new tools to improve our client experience
- Complete analytics exercises and develop reports and insights to accelerate our growth
- Training other team members in using our technology tools to maximize productivity and minimize stress related to the operation of complex modern IT tools.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

- Post -secondary certificate or diploma in Computer Science
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- System(s) Administration: 2 years (required)
- CCNA and or CSSA certification
- MCS and/or MCSE certification
- Linux and Android OS, SOL database & virtual system administration
- Experience in Linux System Admin and Bash Scripting
- Application and implementation of different cabling types for data, voice and audio/video
- AV equipment installation and support (Nice to Have) Implementation of telephony systems for VOiP, Digital and Analog PBX systems
- Ability to travel to client facilities as required
- A valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Server virtualization with hypervisors such as KVM, VMWare
- Strong analytical skills
- High level problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated, quality focused, team player
- Ability to manage competing priorities, adjust for risk, and prioritize product backlog
- Sound decision-making skills, based on good core IT knowledge
- Teamwork skills to productively collaborate with project members
- Fluency in English
