**Position Summary**:
Receives, stores, and distributes products and equipment within the warehouse. Performs work under the direction of the warehouse supervisor or manager.
- **Location: 25 Aero Drive N.E., Calgary**:

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Receives and stocks products from manufacturers and wholesalers. Moves products around the warehouse, operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Equipment that may be utilized includes forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers.
- Ensures accurate quantities of the product were received, and compares appropriate paperwork, or what’s displayed on hand-held scanner, and matching product numbers. Questions and resolves discrepancies as required.
- Enters data product information using a hand-held scanner into the warehouse database for inventory tracking to assure accuracy and completeness.
- Identifies product shortages/damages from delivery upon receipt of product.
- Stocks product in the proper location. Submits product location information to receiving as available inventory.
- Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties
- Daily interaction with co-workers in the warehouse, drivers and purchasing personnel.
- **Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cherry picker to unload trucks and move skids around**

**Physical Demands/Working Conditions**
- Conditions may cause physical discomfort due to significant exposure to uncontrollable temperature, noise from internal paging and conveyor system, delivery trucks, fumes from trucks, dirt and dust. Due to your direct contact with material handling equipment, there is a high risk of personal injury if not practicing safe working habits.- You can expect to be exposed to multiple demands and constant interruptions from superiors and co-workers.**Knowledge (Education/Experience)**
- Successful completion of high school.
- A preference of one to two years of previous experience.
- Requires basic reading and arithmetic skills and strong command of the English language.

Problem Solving/ Judgement:

- Problems faced on the job tend to be standardized with infrequent new problems. Decisions are made based on company policies and procedures. Problems requiring breach of a policy should be referred to a supervisor.
