We are hiring a Production Worker at our 324 Lizzie Street Location

***:
The Production Worker is responsible for assembling and preparing products for distribution which includes packaging, labelling and palletizing to fulfill our customer demands.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Central Packaging**
- Read and interpret work orders.
- Inspect, assemble, label and package a variety of products.
- Maintain work logs and bring forward any issues encountered.

**Production**
- Drill and rivet the connectors to handles.
- Cut backing to correct size for dust mops.

**Safety**
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guideline and protocols.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including quality control standards.

***Perform other duties as assigned**
- May perform other tasks as necessary.

**QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Highschool diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous experience using operating equipment such as pneumatic staplers and cutting machines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to meet production targets and deadlines.

**WORKING CONDITIONS AND ABILITIES**:

- Stationed at the manufacturing plant: 324 Lizzie Street, Winnipeg, MB
- Shift hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, however hours may change if necessary for the needs of the business.
- Must be able to meet the pre-determined production times.
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the job such as lift 50lbs regularly.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be comfortable working in a noisy and dusty environment.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must have clear criminal record check.

**This position is full-time, 100% in person, 8.0 hour shift, Monday to Friday
