**New Grad Program**

**Program Eligibility**
- You have graduated with your Bachelors Degree in 2023, 2024 or will graduate by May 2025
- Or, you are currently completing a Master’s degree in a related field, you are graduating by May 2025, and have a maximum of 1 year between completing your Bachelor’s degree and enrolling in your Master’s program.
- Good Academic Standing (A copy of your Official/Unofficial Transcript)
- Valid, permanent driver's license (Ontario Class G)

**Corporate Communications**

We are looking for a Communications New Grad (1) in our Corporate Communications Team.

This role supports the internal communications team at Hydro One and plays an important part to drive results by assisting with projects, strategic priorities and day to day communications that align with our internal communications strategy. It's a great opportunity to collaborate with internal stakeholders and help deliver engaging communications to employees across both office and field environments.

**In this role you will**:

- Support development of weekly, monthly and quarterly communications products.
- Support the internal communications team and build relationships with partners across the company to understand goals and objectives, making sure effective communication for employees is done through the appropriate channels.
- Support the internal communications team to develop communications plans, products, tactics and strategies for internal clients.
- Support the coordination of photography sessions, video and film productions or AV requirements using internal and external vendors.
- Support the production of large-scale employee events

**Duties may include**:

- Work with other lines of business to provide strategic advice and assist with executing internal communications strategies or products.
- Contribute to the development of communication plans, strategies, and tactics for various internal projects, with messaging that is clear and consistent.
- Work with external partners to develop, implement, or deliver communication products and services by coordinating and providing direction on aspects of development and production.
- Coordinate logistics for photography, video shoots, working with internal and external vendors as needed.
- Develop budget estimates and work back schedules to support projects.

**What we look for**:

- A self-motivated individual with an aptitude to learn
- Leadership skills gained through extracurricular activities or other experience in a dynamic team environment.
- Requires strong written and verbal communication skills with a familiarity of Canadian Press style guide, to be able to draft material for the team geared towards various audiences

**Job Requirements**:

- Must meet New Grad Program Eligibility Requirements
- A University undergraduate/graduate degree in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism or related field
- Previous Co-op/Internship experience in a relevant field and industry is considered an asset
