**Job Overview**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining a high level of customer service.
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate wait times accurately to guests while ensuring their comfort.
- Assist with the overall flow of the restaurant by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and guest interactions effectively.
- Manage take out and delivery orders.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- A background in customer service or guest services is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
