We ensure a stable, secure & efficient infrastructure and service delivery, that protects the customer experience while supporting business growth. Strategic Portfolio Office leads the efforts around: 1) performance, 2) optimization and innovation, 3) best practice portfolio management, 4) GTS financial management and transparency, and 5) GTS employees experience excellence. The Technology Program Office reports into the Strategic Portfolio Office and is responsible for the delivery of GTS Strategic Initiatives. This includes - Project/Program Management, - Project Life-Cycle Planning, - KPI Reporting and Benefits Realization. We provide an end-to-end view of all Global Strategic Programs for the following Portfolios: - Datacentre (Compute and Storage) - Software Currency - Networks & Voice - IT Service Management - Data Loss Prevention - End User Computing (Enterprise Platforms) - Tools & Monitoring. We liaise with key IT Corporate functions: - Cyber Security - Scotia Digital - Governance - Real Estate - Line of Business CIOs and CFOs. **The Role** The Technical Delivery Manager, Strategic Portfolio Office (SPO) is primarily accountable for end-to-end delivery and management of software currency delivery of highly complex strategic infrastructure technology programs and initiatives, spanning multiple business lines and geographical regions. - Engage with multiple stakeholders across Engineering, Architecture, Solution Management, Risk, Governance, Finance and external business partners to address forward looking partner engagements. - Submit and manage change records via ServiceNow **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?** **Required Skills & Experience**: - You can demonstrate excellent communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English. - You also have excellent analytical, be able work through large data sets - You have at least 7+ years of hands-on working experience in leading and Delivering projects. - Solid and effective influence and negotiation skills. - Stake holder relationship Management experience. - You have completed a post-secondary education in a relevant field. - Proven experience managing SOWs with external vendors including reviewing and ensuring deliverables alignment. - Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel(e.g. Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas ) **Nice to Have Skills & Experience**: - You have 7+ years of hands-on working experience in IT Project Management on Enterprise projects and IT related roles. - Project Costing and ability to contribute towards strategic planning and process improvement. - Previous experience with technical leadership in the areas mentioned above and - Previous experience with People management **What’s In It for You** - You'll get to work with and learn from diverse industry leaders, who have hailed from top technology companies around the world. - We foster an environment of innovation and continuous learning.
