Your success in this role is dependent on your insurance knowledge, your initiative to obtain and close leads, ability to build positive long-term relationships and successfully negotiate with insurers in the best interest of our clients. - Your Responsibilities_ - Retention and growth of an existing personal lines book of business - Develop positive relationships with customers and insurance partners for long-term success - Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities - Negotiate with insurance companies in the best interest of our clients - Continuously deliver a superior level of customer service - Generate new business prospects and secure new client relationships - Identify leads, new markets, develop and promote programs - Achieve established personal goals and sales objectives - Qualifications_ - Minimum Level 1 Insurance license with IWS Certification - Minimum 2 years experience in Personal Lines - Demonstrated relationship building expertise - Superior customer service, communication skills and positive personality - Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook - Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently - Experience with TAM is an asset - Ability to travel within the city from time to time (Class 5 licence) is an asset - Type of Person Who Will Succeed in this Role:_ - Positive and Outgoing - Able to work in a fast-paced environment - Competitive nature - A self starter, who is motivated by client satisfaction - Ability to make informed, quick decisions in the best interests of our clients - Team Player - Confident, goal-oriented and organized Next Steps: If you think this position may have potential for you, then send us your resume.
