**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roller Operator to join our team. The Roller Operator will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to compact and finish surfaces, primarily in construction and paving projects. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to ensure high-quality results.

**Duties**
- Operate roller equipment to compact soil, asphalt, or concrete surfaces as part of construction projects.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with crew members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow on job sites.
- Assist in concrete finishing tasks, including smoothing and leveling surfaces.
- Engage in loader operation for material handling as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with roller machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing maintenance on equipment.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus.
- Experience in concrete finishing and forming is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate loaders and other heavy machinery effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks as required.
