Master Scheduler

**OVERVIEW**:
The Master Scheduler (Multiple plant scheduling) reports to the Manager, Scheduling & Logistics and is responsible for coordinating, planning, scheduling, and supervising products throughout their production process, to achieve operational objectives.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage customer demand planning across multiple plant locations
- Work cross functionally between sales and operations teams to prepare a capacity plan
- Create and communicate the production schedule for finished goods to the Production scheduler at multiple plant locations
- Track and update schedule for production changes (downtime, breakdown, etc.) and demand changes (expedited order, emergency order, etc.)
- Track budget Vs actual dollars and communicate status to management
- Provide updated forecast on a weekly basis
- Review long-term demand to identify any constrains
- Rectify and/or reconcile differences and inaccuracies that have to do with shipment and backlog
- Maintain different reporting systems on a 8-12 months rolling period
- Initiate system automation to integrate capacity plan within ERP system
- Ensure systems data is accurate for all areas of responsibility
- Assist in multi-plant standardization projects as needed
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned

**TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum College Degree in Business/Supply Chain Management
- 3-5 years' experience in production scheduling and planning preferred
- Solid understanding of the ERP and MRP functions
- Excellent excel skills
- Good written communication skills
