**Your Role**:
As a bilingual proposal writer, your work will include everything from thorough reviews of both French and English language opportunities, to end-to-end project management, to language content creation, to library administration. You are an eloquent, persuasive language writer, with an in-depth understanding and comfort level of both French and English. You bring focus to the minutiae of day to day content management. You are articulate, with excellent French written communication skills, and able to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines. You’re consistent, detail-oriented, and able to write in a factual, but creative, convincing manner.

We focus on getting our team from proposal to finalist stage for exciting opportunities, and building the Inkblot brand from a client’s first interaction. This role reports directly into the Proposal Manager.

**How You’ll Make An Impact**:

- Review and analyze French and English bids, developing a sophisticated awareness of client proposal requirements
- Provide ad-hoc translation support to the broader Inkblot organization
- Research, write, and organize creative responses to those requirements
- Edit and review existing language and develop new content
- Project manage proposals from receipt to submission
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
- Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines
- Support the development and maintenance of a proposals library database
- Work with the marketing/design team to create graphics and visuals for projects
- Review products, services, and/or business ideas
- Attend meetings and identify opportunities for new language development

**What You’ll Need To Thrive**:

- Fluent in French and English - spoken, read and written
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in both French and English
- Post-secondary degree in journalism, communications, language, or related field
- Experience in French proposal writing (previous experience in writing about employee assistance programs, mental health and/or health benefits preferred) is beneficial
- Strong working knowledge of word processing software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
