Garden Center Associate

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Garden Associate. As a Garden Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their gardening needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our garden center.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist customers in selecting plants, flowers, and gardening supplies
- Provide expert advice on plant care, landscaping, and garden design
- Maintain a clean and organized garden center
- Water, prune, and care for plants to ensure their health and vitality
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise
- Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing displays
- Answer customer inquiries in person

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell products
- Organizational skills to maintain inventory and keep track of customer orders
- Cash handling experience with attention to detail
- Passion for gardening and knowledge of different plant varieties

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
