**This job is located on the Sunshine Coast in Egmont, BC.** We are looking for a seasoned resort professional to work alongside our Guest Service Manager to support our team with daily operations throughout the busy summer season.
This role offers the opportunity to support various operations and departments across the resort including the Pub, Guest Services, Housekeeping and the Marina.

**Responsibilities**:
- Supporting and working hands-on with the management team, ensuring the smooth operation of all departments throughout the busy ‘peak’ season across the resort
- Manage customer relations and guest satisfaction to create a welcoming guest experience and maintain positive customer relationships
- Consistent ‘walk-through’ of grounds, marina, and pub, providing support to colleagues and guests
- Support the Pub team with daily operations, providing feedback to improve general efficiencies for both front and back of house
- Assist the Guest Service Manager in leading the property team with daily operations including the guest service, housekeeping, maintenance and dock crew
- Process accommodation and marina reservations ensuring check-in processes run smoothly after hours
- Manage guest relations after hours, ensuring a detailed handover for the guest services team is completed daily
- Assist on the Marina with fuel-ups and the safe mooring of vessels
- Liaise with the Events Coordinator to execute weddings and events
- Consult on short
- and long-term strategies and brand development
- Assist the management team in developing and controlling labour and operation costs
- Other duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years’ experience in hospitality or guest services
- Food and beverage experience considered an asset
- Valid Serving it Right Certificate
- Flexibility in scheduling needs and tasks with a willingness to assist in multiple departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as hospitality software
- Guest service oriented with ability to provide friendly and proactive service
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to solve problems, finding effective solutions in a fast-paced work environment
- Team player with strong conflict resolution skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a timely and productive manner
**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $54,000.00 per year
