**Overview**
- This position would be well-suited for a 3rd
- or 4th-year apprentice or a Red Seal carpenter, with opportunities to complete trade school._
**Responsibilities**
- All carpentry aspects, including framing, deck building, finishing, concreting, drywall installation, mudding and taping, painting, window and door installation, kitchen installation, and demolition.
- Fence building, including multiple styles of fencing.
- Utilize hand tools and power equipment safely to complete installations efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform necessary site preparations, including digging post holes and leveling ground.
- Ensure all installations are plumb, secure, and meet local building codes.
- Conduct repairs on existing structures as needed.
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Follow company procedures diligently.
- Complete weekly vehicle inspections and Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs) on-site.
- Work in a leadership role, mentoring and teaching apprentices.
- Ensure company vehicles are kept spotless at all times.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and demonstrate accountability, as there is a zero-tolerance policy for being late.
- Maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Workers are responsible for supplying and maintaining their own hand tools, including cordless tools.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
- Knowledge of drywall installation or flooring installation is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Excellent physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A working cell phone with phone plan is required (we will need to contact you during the day and our scheduling/clock in-clock-out is done on an app).
- Must have a vehicle to commute to and from office/yard.
- Must have experience and be confident towing a trailer
- Working at heights certification and boom lift tickets are not required but will be considered an asset.
**Additional Benefits**
- After the probation period, workers will be supplied with a work truck or van equipped with a chop saw and a table saw.
- The company will supply consumables such as blades and cut-off wheels.
- A work uniform will be supplied after the probation period is completed.

Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour
