Vice President Advisor Value Proposition

**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Vice President, Advisor Value Proposition to join our Sales Effectiveness & Performance team within Canada Life.

You and your team will be focused on enabling our Canada Life value proposition for the 26,000 advisors that we work with across various channels, striving to enhance advisor engagement and growth with Canada Life. You will also have an eye on the future by identifying future market growth opportunities within the distribution landscape.

**What you will do**
- Develop and own a ‘one Canada Life’ value proposition for advisors across all channels; and lead the articulation of a total market strategy for distribution focusing on mid
- and long-term opportunities to grow the business and our Canada Life brand
- Deliver targeted consulting engagements with measurable results, helping advisors grow their practices with Canada Life
- Build a world-class Learning and Development COE and governance model
- Lead field facing and advisor enablement teams - Financial Planning Consultants, Business Consulting Group, Advisor Talent and Distribution Learning & Development

**What you will bring**
- At least 10 years of experience working within the financial services industry
- Inspire a vision that adapts to new realities, articulating meaningful expectations and creating clear pathways to desired outcomes
- Understand the business environment and external advisor/customer needs to identify business opportunities that create a competitive advantage
- Ability to use data driven insights to develop new areas of revenue/focus
- Proven experience in a combination of the following: Delivering Growth / Transformation / Financial Services / Distribution
- Has a passion for leading and developing people
- Superior presentation skills and creates concise and persuasive materials for stakeholders
- Strategic thinker and business acumen with the ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders and business partners to drive change
- Ability to understand the mechanics of a heavily matrixed organization and drive to results
- Proven ability to build trusting, relationships and empower teams
- University degree preferably in a business-related field
