Electronics Technician

Payment in motion is hiring for Electronics Technician to work closely to Engineering and Support teams to:

- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Assemble and repair existing equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Install software in the equipment.
- Test equipment and software operation.
- Install equipment onboard transit buses.
- Regular traveling across Canada and USA to install and repair equipment as needed. Travels durations can be from 1 day up to a couple of months.
- Occasional Night Shifts and Weekends, mainly during equipment installation.

- Learn rapidly.
- Passionate about troubleshooting and solving problems.
- Proactivity with a focus on getting things done.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks and work without supervision.
- Must have hands on working skill.
- Ability to use hand and power tools to perform repair and installation (such as: drilling, cutting, grinding, and assemble).
- The ability to use welding equipment.
- Familiar with electrical control, electronics and mechanicals.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Experience with computer programs (MS Office).
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Availability to travel. Traveling can be from 1 day up to 3 weeks.
- Availability to work after office hours when needed.
- Must have a legal status to work in Canada (the company will not sponsor applicants for work visas/residencies).

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
