**Day in the life of**a Asset Recovery Coordinator**:
- Portfolio Management: Independently manage a portfolio of accounts or oversee a vendor’s portfolio, ensuring recovery efforts are executed efficiently and in alignment with company policies.
- Vendor Coordination: Engage with repossession agents and third-party vendors to assign recovery tasks, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
- Storage & Impound Coordination: Respond promptly to notifications of located or impounded vehicles. Coordinate with vendors, storage facilities, and internal teams to facilitate timely recovery and minimize associated costs.
- Post-Sale Support: Assist with post-sale activities for remarketed vehicles, including uploading bills of sale, filing lien discharges, ensuring accurate fund processing, and transitioning files to the appropriate internal units.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed records of recovery actions, communications, and outcomes. Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and privacy laws.
- Workflow Adherence: Follow established workflows and recovery protocols to ensure consistent, organized, and timely execution of recovery processes.
**What we are looking for**:
- Professional experience in customer service and/or administrative roles.
- Experience in asset recovery, collections, financial services, or in the auto industry are highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to navigate difficult conversations.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Self-sufficient and capable of working independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
