**STORESKEEPER - Public Works**

b e a self-starter who has great multi-tasking and customer service skills along with prior
r elated experience. They will be responsible for a variety of storeskeeping duties including
ordering, receiving and issuing stock, as well as administrative and first aid duties.
- Specific duties may include:

- Organizing and coordinating the operation of the Public Works warehouse
- Ordering, receiving and issuing supplies, parts, tools and equipment
- Maintaining records and doing inventory
- Assisting with dispatching and various related office duties
- Administering first aid treatment
- Operating a forklift to load and unload freight
- Required qualifications:

- Grade 12 (or equivalent)
- Completion of Introduction to Procurement and Introduction to Operations
- Management courses (_Purchasing Management Association courses_)
- 1-2 years of related experience, preferable in a municipal setting
- Current WorkSafeBC Intermediate First Aid certification (previously OFA Level 2)
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
- Successful completion of a pre-employment fitness evaluation
- Demonstrated competency using MSOffice programs
- The rate of pay for this position is $35.18 per hour (2023 rate) and includes a full benefits _
- package. In addition, this position works a flex-day schedule_.
