**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create accurate 2D and 3D **CAD/CAM drawings** for metal fabrication projects using [e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, BobCAD].
- Design and develop **welding fabrication drawings** for metal components and assemblies.
- Generate CAM programs for CNC machines based on approved CAD designs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and efficiency of designs.
- Modify and update existing drawings and CAM programs as needed.
- Assist with material selection and review to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings and CAM files comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Provide technical support to the production team, resolving any design or machining-related issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control for all CAD/CAM files and revisions.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a CAD Operator or similar role in a **metal fabrication environment**.
- Strong proficiency in **CAD/CAM software** (e.g., **AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, BobCAD-CAM**).
- Experience generating CAM toolpaths for CNC operations.
- Solid understanding of **metal fabrication processes**, **machining**, and **welding techniques**.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
