Our identity is defined by our commitment to collaborative teamwork with our clients and our people, representing a history of proven success. **Position Summary** **In this role, you will...** Responsibilities: - Proactively work with our Infrastructure/GIS team to assess opportunities, organize scoping calls and discoveries, document findings and architect solutions to develop proposals and statements of work. - Administer multiple ArcGIS Enterprise Instances including licensing and user management - Manage, manipulate, and analyze spatial data in various formats. Create and maintain geospatial databases and ensure data integrity. - Integrate GIS with other enterprise systems and data sources to create cohesive, functional solutions. - Develop and customize GIS tools, scripts, and extensions to enhance system capabilities and streamline workflows. - Create, update, and maintain digital maps, spatial models, and web-based GIS solutions. - Work with project managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality GIS solutions. - Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications for GIS projects and solutions. - Keep abreast of the latest GIS technologies, tools, and best practices to recommend improvements and innovations. **About you...** Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS development, administration, spatial data analysis, or a related field. - Strong understanding of ESRI ArcGIS Database systems, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online. Experience with ArcGIS Workflow Manager and Jupyter Notebook will be considered an asset. - Experience managing and maintaining GIS and/or ETL platforms, databases and servers. - Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript. C# knowledge will be considered an asset. - Experience with geospatial databases like Oracle Spatial or SQL Server. - Familiarity with GIS APIs. i.e. ArcGIS Python API, ArcGIS REST API - Familiarity with GIS interoperability from major vendors such as Autodesk, Trimble and Safe Software. - Experience with cloud-based GIS solutions and services (e.g., ArcGIS Online, AWS, Azure). - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex spatial data and develop innovative solutions. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Able to work under varying workloads, often with tight deadlines and under pressure. Able to take initiative and proactively determine requirements to see efficient completion of tasks. - Willing to travel within Canada & USA if required, expectation < 10 days annually. - Experience with Safe Software FME Flow and Form will be considered an asset. **Why choose us?** We are an Autodesk Authorized Training Center, employing the largest team of industry technology experts in Canada.
