New Age Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is an established plumbing and heating company, locally owned and operated in Victoria, BC. We have a small but mighty and growing team with a position available for a Journeyman plumber.

At New Age Plumbing & Heating Ltd. We perform a variety of work including light commercial, residential renovations, new-builds and occasional service and are looking for an individual who has experience in these areas or who is interested in expanding their scope to include these areas.

**Wage**:
Competitive wage starting at $35 to $45/hr dependent on skill set and experience. Negotiable/flexible for the right fit with potential to earn more as employee proves growth and independence through hard work, continued education, and good work ethic.

Happy to train and offer experience in a new space for the right fit.

Gas fitter experience considered an asset and is desirable, but not required.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 Drivers License (drivers abstract required)
- Legally able to work in Canada (required)
- Journeyman Plumber certification (required)
- Journeyman Gasfitter B (not required)

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation of plumbing equipment & fixtures
- Groundwork, rough in, and finishing for a variety of plumbing projects
- Prep for inspections
- Diagnose & resolve problems with plumbing, plumbing equipment, and plumbing fixtures
- Read & understand drawings, plans and specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized job site & well-inventoried van
- Submit minor paperwork daily to the office for billing purposes
- Work alongside the office staff to ensure client communications and overall success of the job & company
- Mentor & train an apprentice as needed
- Work indoors and outdoors

- Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes, standards, and regulations
- Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions

- Strong problem-solving & trouble shooting skills
- Customer service skills & ability to communicate with clients as well as co-workers and others we interact with daily such as: wholesaler staff, supplier staff, other trades, contractors etc.

**Sign-Off**:
**Salary**: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
